Delivery Partner Executive

Your Role and Responsibilities
The Delivery Partner Executive (DPE) ensures client needs are satisfied by constructing partnerships between the IBM Client Partner Executive (CPE), clients, vendors, and subcontractor organizations, and managing the implementation of these partnerships to ensure positive client satisfaction. He/she builds account satisfaction through formulation, development, implementation, and delivery of technical and business solutions as specified in the contract or Statement of Work (SOW). The DPE works with the CPE and delivery organization as a primary point of contact for client needs, requirements and expectations with regard to assigned IBM delivery team operations. He/she provides account leadership to the service delivery team to develop program, project, product, and business strategies, implementing resulting solutions to meet contract deliverables. The DPE manages cost, schedule, and service deliverables as they relate to the delivery organization. He/she supports the CPE in identifying growth opportunities and contract profitability, owns service delivery quality and is responsible for tracking and reporting service level attainment/objectives (SLAs/SLOs).
  • Single point of contact to the CPE (Client Partner Executive) for delivery
  • Partner with CPE in attainment of financial and client satisfaction targets
  • Involved in contract solutions (being a trusted solution advisor and promote new solutions)
  • Familiar with the client's business and participates in opportunity identification
  • Overall leader of the service delivery team
  • Negotiation of financial agreement (DPEs role in cost management and CPE for revenue as appropriate)
  • Negotiation of DOU (as appropriate) and SOWs on who will manage 3rd party agreements, etc.
  • Experience in the management and delivery of IT Platforms and Services (Cloud, RedHat, Mainframe, Distributed, Workplace Services, DR, Security, etc)

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Adaptable and flexible to work environment including, but not limited to, out of town travel as required to meet business commitments. Business needs may require, handling multiple tasks concurrently, and easily adapting to new assignments, system, tools; produce clear, concise, accurate written communication, clearly conveying thoughts and ideas to peers, management, and customers; establish and maintain positive work relationships with peers, management, and customers, displaying willingness to understand diverse points of view; learn and apply new equipment and tools within an acceptable timeframe; and assume ownership of assignments, completing commitments on time.
