CIO Mergers & Acquisitions IT Applications Project Manager

Your Role and Responsibilities
For each assigned deal, individual will be responsible to document and track the business application portfolio starting at due diligence and concluding with full compliance to IBM standards within 12 months of deal close.
  • Create an application inventory and an integration plan to sunset, remediate or risk acceptance legacy applications within 12 months and archive legacy systems data.
  • Educate integration teams on application approach; communicate plans to acquired company IT teams and related management.
  • Obtain business application plan of record interlock from all stakeholders include brand Executives, Integration Executives, Business Controls, Internal Audit, BT/CIO management and integration team function leads.
  • Ensure risks are clearly identified, documented and communicated to the application business process owner.
  • Sunset legacy systems or migrate to end state business owner
  • Oversee execution to achieve operation integration according to integration plan.
  • Ensure IBM security and business control standards are implemented by the Business process owner including secondary controls, submission of Risk Acceptances, ASCA and Business Controls reviews, application remediation, and recording into EAL.
Individual will also provide advisory support to functional leads regarding tradeoffs in deciding to retain legacy applications versus boarding IBM equivalent and sunsetting legacy – IBM standards, requirements as application business owner, etc. Additional responsibility for oversight of archiving and contract data migration activities.
If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the anticipated compensation range for this position $113,000 to $174,000 is based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • 5+ years experience in Application Development or Business Analyst
  • Understanding of Enterprise Business Processes (i.e. Marketing, Sales, Ordering, Fulfillment, Delivery, Client Support) and associated business applications
  • Capability to evaluate an application environment and understand architecture and dependencies
  • Knowledge of application development and deployment lifecycle - Concept, Development, System and UAT, Deployment and Support
  • General IT Architecture Knowledge (On-Prem, Cloud, SaaS, Data Interfaces, etc)
  • Ability to assess IT Business Applications for IT General Controls, Data Protection and Data Privacy requirements, including risk management and remediation
  • Executive communication and presentation skill
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with international scope
