Your Role and Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity to join a great company, culture and opportunity for growth! If you are a talented and tech savvy business consultant we are eager to have you join our North American sales team. You'll be a critical part of topnotch IBM client account teams as they guide clients in an agile way to meaningful business outcomes with leading cloud and cognitive solutions. You will be working as a Business Transformation Consultant to help drive our Global Markets sales initiatives in North America. You will support the client account team as the technical business expert that helps identify solutions and services for our customers. You will help lead workshops, develop business points of view and business cases for client investment in IBM offerings. You will be involved in the entire sales process from initial client contact to ensuring a path to successful adoption. You will be familiar with similar industry solutions and how they differ. You will be viewed as a IT industry expert and help build IBM eminence by contributing to reusable assets and techniques to improve cloud and cognitive adoption.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
2+ years of previous experience in strategic business consulting in large, complex organizations
2+ years of previous experience working as a client facing business consultant or P&L product manager of a technology product
Knowledge and skill in strategic analysis and financial analysis
Demonstrated skill in developing technical value propositions, pro-forma financial business cases and impactful client proposals
Demonstrated understanding how cloud and cognitive technologies drive business value
Excellent facilitation and communication skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience helping clients modernize applications on the cloud
Experience with agile product management of technology products.
Experience guiding digital transformation in large, complex organizations.
