As an Accounting SME/Team Leader you will play a unique and integral role as a 'trusted business advisor' in support of various internal customers including Finance, Planning, Pricing, Operational teams, Business Development, Treasury, Client Financing etc. throughout globally integrated company.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Accounting has the responsibility to accurately record the company's financial performance using Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, the companies Accounting Practices and Local Statutory Principles. Professionals working in this role, are responsible for areas of the companies consolidated results. In this role you will be responsible for aspects of the Corporate Consolidation and external reporting including the review of any documents provided to investors. Individuals in this role should be able to expertly collaborate with other areas of the business including Investor Relations, Finance, Communications, other members of the Accounting team and senior finance leadership. Attention to detail and critical thinking are paramount in this role. In this role you will also provide and present comprehensive and meaningful information and accounting guidance to the various stakeholders noted above.
Candidates should be a CPA and have a minimum of 7+ years of progressive accounting experiences. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and support senior executives on reporting and technical accounting matters in a timely fashion.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience including leadership roles or 7 years of non-public accounting experience (SEC registrant company)
Effective written and oral communication
Possess or strong interest to apply US GAAP accounting rules in a complex, SEC regulated, technology company.
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
Demonstrate working knowledge of computer skills including the Office suite of products.
Demonstrate professional written and oral communication skills.
Fluent in English
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Prefer experience at one of the Big Four accounting firms
