Job Description
As a member of the Supply Chain team and as part of the Future of Supply Chain Workstreams you will leave one or more workstreams and initiatives to identify improvements and to help develop new applications and tools. Members of FOS are working towards Supply Chain 4.0 and becoming the best in the industry at supply chain objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Executes deliverables in support of the supply chain organization's business objectives. Guides of one of the key areas within the Global Supply Chain to ensure business objectives are met or exceeded in all areas including customer, quality, service, responsiveness, people, product and financial initiatives.
Position communicates to all levels of the organization, within the function as well as other functions and suppliers Position is responsible for supporting relationship management with logistic suppliers and service providers
  • Ability to understand and assess complex supply chain issues and lead teams in a cross functional environment to successfully resolve issues minimizing impacts to vehicle production
  • Assess supplier schedules and impact on vehicle assembly production.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to develop creative solutions.
  • Ability to summarize critical issues with resolutions and communicate to leadership
  • Handle very complex capacity constraint issues to resolution with goal to eliminate potential plant disruptions and reduce premium transportation.
  • Analyze metrics supporting supplier critical issues or sufficiency plan resolution.
  • Ability to be flexible and at times work extended and non-core hours to ensure issues are worked to resolution.
  • Ability to travel to plant locations when required for onsite support of launch and build-out.
  • Ability to problem tackle complete issues and implement new and innovative strategies.
  • Deep understanding of Supply Chain functions

Additional Job Description
Primary point of contact (SME) for MGO A and C standard processes and Supply Chain systems including GEPICS, RSCM, VBIMS, PPS, and Reporting.
  • Ability to understand and assess complex supply chain issues and lead teams in a cross functional environment to successfully resolve issues minimizing impacts to vehicle production
  • Ability to understand and assess supplier schedules and impact on vehicle assembly production
  • Ability to work cross functionally to develop creative solutions to complex supply chain issues
  • Ability to summarize critical issues with resolutions and communicate to leadership
  • Ability to manage very complex capacity constraint issues to resolution with goal to eliminate potential plant disruptions and reduce premium transportation.
  • Ability to analyze metrics supporting supplier capacity issue escalation or sufficiency plan resolution.
  • Must have some flexibility and at times work extended and non-core hours to ensure issues are worked to resolution.
  • Ability to travel to plant locations when required for onsite support of launch and build-out.
  • Ability to problem solve complete issues and implement new and innovative strategies.
  • Lead implementation of corporate Component Based Release program and resolve emerging issues.
  • Lead Global Circle of Colleagues strategy.
  • Experience in MGO A, MGO C, and GEPICS.
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve MRP system issues in scheduling, receiving, orders and inventory in response to help desk tickets.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, or Purchasing
  • Good understanding of Supply Chain functions
  • Basic understanding of Containerization and Logistics
  • Basic understanding of Purchasing
  • Basic understanding of IT processes and terminology.
  • Ability to test new systems, document issues, and resolve functionality.
  • Drive to deploy new systems and innovation.
  • Problem solving with EDI issues
  • Project management skills
  • Deployment and rollout capabilities
  • Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management, Purchasing, IT, Manufacturing and/or Engineering
