The Central Analytics team in GMS Business Planning and Operation Organization focuses on (i) providing the business with revenue analysis and data driven recommendations to improve biz and operations, (ii) making data available via reports and dashboard to the business and (iii) providing data technical expertise to run critical rhythm of business activities like revenue forecasting.
  • Independently plan, lead and perform analysis of data and trends to proactively deliver insights about operational performance and drive improvement.
  • Prepare presentations and reports to communicate business insights.
  • Perform root cause analyses on key problem areas.
  • Effectively plan and collaborate with a global team on data driven initiatives to solve complex operational problems.
  • Use data expertise to successfully support cross-functional operational needs.
  • Collaborate with operations and data-focused teams within and outside Business Planning an Operations to solve problems and develop solutions.
  • Define KPIs and metrics to asses the performance of an evolving business.
  • 5+ years of experience in data and analytical problem solving
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience using programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R
  • Presentation experience - experience building impactful storytelling thought presentations
  • Basic understanding of project management fundamentals and experience leading data-centric projects across a wide cross-functional landscape
  • Communication skills and experience explaining technical issues to both technical and business partners
  • Experience in the creation of forecasting models in a technology company
  • Experience with data visualization software (Tableau, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience in cross-functional collaboration across multiple stakeholders
  • Experience working within operations ecosystems
  • Experience creating data infrastructure (e.g. ETL pipeline creation)
