The role of Supply Planner is high-impact and complex, and it must be undertaken by someone who is capable of complex problem solving, cross-functional interactions, and holds a tenacious passion for doing “what it takes”. This is a full-time position. The Supply Planner is responsible for end-to-end supply chain planning and product availability for a portfolio of FRL products. This includes supply planning, capacity and factory scheduling, and leading the weekly (tactical) and monthly (strategic) Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for the products in the assigned portfolio. The role also manages the ex-factory and supply commit processes for the associated contract manufacturing sites. Additionally, the position involves steering all stages of inventory planning from New Product Introduction (NPI) to End of Life (EOL) for the products in their assigned portfolio (hero products and accessories).
  • Responsible for supply planning and product availability for the items in their portfolio and making landed supply commitments for the Sales team.
  • Responsible for leading Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) monthly cross-functional meetings.
  • Understands multi-channel demand signals for the products in the assigned portfolios and provides actionable supply recommendations to respond/adjust trends (e-commerce, retail, enterprise, non-revenue).
  • Creates and maintains flexible inventory plans for finished goods and accessories across regional DCs considering operational and fulfillment service policies, financial targets and cost-effective transportation considerations.
  • Partners with Contract Manufacturing Operations to ensure that site capacities are properly modeled and optimized across the network in meeting customer demand.
  • Proactively identifies and resolves supply issues, including communication, escalation and coordination of resolution.
  • Is accountable for supply chain key performance indicators (KPI) associated with the assigned product portfolio including developing root cause/corrective action for KPIs that are behind target. Leads cross-functionally to address KPI performance.
  • Responsible for driving planning excellence and mentoring and coaching other team members.
  • 5+ years' experience in relevant Supply Planning/Master Scheduling roles.
  • Expert experience with ERP systems (specifically regarding planning, order management, allocations, and fulfillment).
  • Experience with global manufacturing and CM management.
  • Expert in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Communication and collaborative skills, with experience presenting/influencing senior management.
  • Experience prioritizing and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sense of urgency, accuracy, and follow-through.
  • Supply Planning experience within Consumer Electronics.
  • Experience in S&OP management, scenario modeling, experience building data models with large data sets.
  • Experience retrieving insights/reports from data portals (Tableau, Business Intelligence hubs).
  • Experience deploying planning system tools and developing processes.
  • Experience in a startup/small-team entrepreneurial environment and scaling to enterprise class.
  • Experience influencing and drive decision-making through fact-based analysis and rationale.
  • University BS or MS in supply chain or related field.
  • Certification in materials management/supply chain (e.g., APICS) is preferred.
