Facebook is seeking a Public Policy Manager for its Connectivity & Access Policy team to help develop and advocate for our positions on global net neutrality, telecom, and mobile access policy issues. This person will work closely with our internal product and business teams, as well as our regional policy teams.In this role you will utilize your experience in and knowledge of Internet policy and regulatory issues to work with cross-functional teams across different parts of the globe.
  • Responsible for policy issues related to net neutrality, telecom, and mobile access.
  • Develop policy assessments, identify risks and opportunities, and provide policy guidance and support to internal business teams.
  • Act as liaison as needed between internal business teams and country/regional policy teams.
  • Develop briefing documents including policy positions, messaging, and Q&A in advance of new product rollouts.
  • Monitor relevant regulatory and legislative proceedings globally and draft submissions advocating for policy positions.
  • Advocate for connectivity and accessibility policy positions with external stakeholders.
  • Degree in public policy, law, or related field
  • 5+ years of policy or legal experience in the telecommunications and/or tech industry
  • JD
  • Government and/or international experience
  • Experience advising in-house product or other business teams
