Recruiting is a core strategic driver of Facebook's success. Key to that success is our ability to interview and hire top talent in a way that supports diversity, keeps our hiring partners engaged, and creates a superior experience for our candidates. To do that, we’re looking for an Interview Experience Program Designer to build scalable systems and processes to support how we interview and assess candidates. Programs could include: the lifecycle of interview questions (creation, review, monitoring, sunsetting), interviewer certification (how should interviewers be trained, how will we recognize interviewers), and post-interview candidate reviews (how hiring decisions are made, who makes those decisions, what data is used). This is a new role on a new and growing team that will chart the future of interviewing and evaluating candidates at scale for Facebook.The ideal candidate has experience working at the intersection of people, strategy, and scaled program design. This role requires a self-starter who proactively identifies problems and opportunities, pulls together the data and people to develop solutions, and then designs and drives the implementation of systems and programs across an organization of thousands by leaning on change management and an ability to influence. This person must be a system-level thinker and expert program designer for large, complex programs/processes. The person in this role will manage across our recruiting leadership team, our research functions, our recruiting product teams, and our hiring partners to streamline and enhance how we interview and hire top talent. This role sits squarely within a fast-paced, dynamic environment that continually presents opportunities to produce solutions for a wide variety of interesting and often complex challenges.
  • Thoroughly understand the current-state interview experience (across functions and geographies) and partner with our research/analytics and recruiting product teams to continuously measure effectiveness and experience
  • Identify and recommend new internal programs/processes to scale the interview experience at Facebook with a focus on inclusion and a highly user-centric approach
  • Conduct ongoing research (interviews, focus groups, etc.) to understand and evolve the interview experience
  • Orchestrate alignment across a range of partner teams and stakeholders including recruiting operations, recruiting product, research/analytics, interview councils, change/communications and recruiting leadership
  • Build with Diversity and Inclusion in mind to drive consistency and fairness in all of our interview programs and processes
  • Partner with People Engineering to develop products to support the interview experience
  • Partner with recruiting business partners and business leaders on the roll-out and change management of program changes
  • Prepare correspondence and presentations, for executive updates, meetings, roadmapping sessions, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, recruiting operations, HR or a related field
  • Adaptable/flexible collaborator experience in highly dynamic environments and high-growth businesses. Experience in rapidly re-prioritize and pivot as needed
  • Experience building complex and scaled problem solving using design thinking and data analysis
  • Experience operating in a matrix and constantly changing environment
  • Experience prioritize competing needs with reason and solutions
  • Experience building new programs/processes and developing improvements or new ideas to existing programs/processes
  • Experience with interviewing, assessment or recruiting programs/processes
  • Effective communicator and facilitator with the experience bringing alignment across teams with competing priorities
  • Experience with changement management design and execution as a project manager
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in organizational transformation, human resources/human capital consulting, and/or people practice development
  • Experience in high-growth companies
  • Experience designing and leading complex recruiting/talent acquisition initiatives
  • Familiarity with topics like recruiting strategy, service delivery, and people practice development
