Facebook Global Security is responsible for the safety and security of all Facebook’s people, assets and reputation. As Security Site Manager, you will support a Security Area Manager with overseeing a guard force, monitoring and responding to incidents, managing and coordinating special event and ensuring a safe working environment for a specific site that would include multiple buildings. You will also Support initiatives to strengthen external partnerships with local and state law enforcement, federal agencies, third party vendors and community organizations. You will be expected to lead the daily security operations for your locations and execute strong vendor performance. During the response to Covid-19 you will be supporting Global Security in the safe return to office efforts.
  • Coordinate daily security operations as determined by the Security Area Manager
  • Support the review and development of SOPs and ERPs
  • Supervise all security vendors against FB issued KPIs and expectations
  • Assist with security and safety awareness training programs
  • Provide additional operational support and guidance to the regional security teams
  • Assist with project related security strategies, as required
  • Collaborate with key partners to build innovative and creative security strategies
  • Ensure compliance with Regional/Global Standards and Programs
  • Manage a team of Reception Associates: including their daily operations and supporting their career development
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Seven or more years of security management experience
  • Knowledge in the areas of emergency/disaster management, physical security, critical incident stress management, risk management and business resiliency, experience with emergency procedure protocols and regulatory interfaces
  • Experience applying logic and reason to solve problems
  • Experience in corporate or institutional Security/Safety related role
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of security procedures and processes
  • Experience with security technologies including CCTV, Access Control, and Incident Management Systems
  • Proven track record in managing security operations and security personnel and delivering, customer-oriented security programs
  • Computer skills
  • Communication and organizational leadership
  • Experience in managing teams of at least 5 people
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Workplace Incident Management, Emergency Response, Crisis Management, and Business Continuity
  • Knowledge of Physical Security design specifications and standards
  • Experience in infusing innovation into strategic plans
  • Experience in responding to covid19 and/or return to office efforts
