The Facebook Developer Operations team is looking for a strong leader and team player to support our growing team. This individual will support a new functional team focused on audit & compliance. In this position, you will interface closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Privacy, Legal, Product Policy, Compliance and Investigations teams. Successful candidates for this team have a bias toward action, enjoy finding patterns amid chaos, making quick decisions, and are up for a challenge. The Audit & Compliance Program Manager is a passionate connector and diligent problem solver. We want an experienced Program Manager who is ambitious yet humble and knows how to get comfortable in uncomfortable situations. You will improve team communication, collaboration, and remove roadblocks through utilization of a full range of organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Act as a primary contact point for Developer Operations to ensure timely execution across a global, complex audit cycles for Developer Operations Review & Enforcement teams and it’s key cross-functional stakeholders (like Privacy legal, Product Policy, Legal and Compliance and other Investigations teams).
  • Plan and manage complex operational audits including risk assessment, execution and post-remediation validation. Surface key issues and changes which may impact expected business results.
  • Effectively manage audit requests and information gathering required for audit activities by partnering with internal audit co-sourcing partner(s) to coordinate cross-vertical audit projects and initiatives in alignment with DevOps team’s strategy.
  • Responsible for defining and implementing Audit and Compliance framework and structure to improve documentation, tools and processes by leveraging data analytics in the audit lifecycle for Developer Operations (e.g., audit plan development, risk assessment, engagement execution, reporting, findings management).
  • Help Developer Operations team members understand audit & compliance control environment and expectations by leveraging change management best practices to ensure the successful adoption.
  • Organize and communicate audit recommendations in a clear and concise way to leadership team members in presentations.
  • Apply solid judgement regarding support needs across multiple competing priorities.
  • 3+ years of proven project and program management experience
  • 3+ years of analytical and problem-solving experience
  • Experience managing, influencing, and driving strategic solution development across different teams
  • Proven experience operating effectively and autonomously in situations of extreme ambiguity
  • Communication skills, including the experience working with technical and non-technical audiences as well as communicate as effectively to individual contributors as you do with executives
  • Interpersonal experience with influencing and communicating technical content to non-technical audiences
  • Problem solving experience with experience providing business insights from data sets
  • Experience in public relations, law, policy creation, or compliance
  • Experience in regulatory compliance
