The Technology Transfer Team has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Front End Semiconductor Process System Engineer, External Partnerships. This position is responsible for managing and directing the qualification of an integrated set of front end (FE) semiconductor processes to deliver the final qualified end to end process in support of product ramp. Much of this work will be in collaboration with our technology development/mass production partner. Product ramp predictability and cross functional plan awareness will be a critical measurement of success.
  • Direct and align several semiconductor nanofabrication engineering workstreams into a cohesive integrated plan to deliver a holistic integrated process flow in support of New Technology and Product Design and Readiness.
  • Own aspects of FE processes to assist knowledge transfer based on specialization and risk areas, including but not limited to Etch (ICP, IBE), Film Deposition (PVD, CVD), Patterning (Tracks, MA, other imaging methods) and Wets/Cleans.
  • Manage and control the revision of change for front end processes through the development phase so that confidence is high on delivering predictable solutions into production.
  • Own the health of the interface between the different engineering functions at partner and at FB (Architecture, FE Process, metrology, Closed Loop feedback).
  • Be the single engineering for alignment to the internal front end engineering functions, TPM and planning functions.
  • Co-Own Yield Plan across full process flow and deliver alignment on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) checkpoints with cross functional teams.
  • Travel up to 50% and potential for periods of co-location at MP partner.
  • Where applicable support facilitation and tracking of procurement and materials activity.
  • Understanding of semiconductor process engineering and semiconductor integration engineering, including specific key module expertise.
