This began with Workplace and is now extending to new products and services. Workplace is a high-growth SaaS startup within Facebook with over 7 million paid users. It helps organizations transform how they connect, collaborate, and get work done.Facebook is seeking a Business Operations (BizOps) Associate who will partner with leaders across Workplace and our emerging SaaS businesses. As part of the BizOps team, this person will operate across the full spectrum of business needs including strategic and financial planning, goal setting, performance management and managing business partner relationships. One of the potential areas of focus for the role is the Partner/Channel Ecosystem part of the business.This role requires strategic thinking, building connections and influencing stakeholders through effective communication, an analytical mindset, and a bias towards action. You will be challenged to understand and contribute to a rapidly evolving business, drive collaboration across teams, develop recommendations on strategic investment decisions, craft annual and long range plans, and partner with product and business leaders to solve problems and achieve goals.   • Strategic and Financial Planning: Drive annual and long range planning cycles linking our strategy to operating and financial metrics. Determine appropriate investment levels (e.g. headcount, opex budget) and their respective ROI. Evaluate new business opportunities
  • Goal Setting: Define appropriate goals for the business (e.g. Sales, Customer Success, Business Development teams) in close cooperation with Business and Operations teams
  • Performance Management: Ensure monetization trends are well understood via regular reporting and analysis. Own operating and financial model and lead operating rhythms (e.g. Monthly Business Reviews) for key business segments
  • Strategic Projects: Identify and drive critical initiatives to support monetization and business growth (e.g. pricing, segment prioritization, and new initiatives)
  • Stakeholder Management/Connective Tissue: Collaborate cross-functionally and proactively engage as a liaison between a range of Business, Product and Operations teams
  • BS or MS in a business-related or quantitative field (Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or similar discipline)
  • 3+ years of experience in business strategy or finance
  • Experience working in an unstructured, high-paced environment
  • Experience in SaaS. Understanding of the SaaS business model and monetization drivers
  • Experience presenting analyses and recommendations to senior cross-functional audiences
  • Experience building financial models in Excel with a high degree of accuracy and autonomy
  • Experience using SQL to synthesize large datasets and inform business decisions
  • 2+ years of experience at a SaaS company in business operations/finance, sales operations, or strategy/corporate development
  • 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or management consulting or a similar field
  • Experience in Partner/Channel/Ecosystem BizOps
  • Adept at building relationships with senior stakeholders across various functions
  • High level of ownership and experience to drive outcomes with minimal guidance
  • Proficiency using Salesforce to extract data and inform business decisions
