Application Manager, Revenue Accounting and Subscription Billing

Facebook’s Enterprise Product team is responsible for building integrated, scalable, and robust enterprise applications. We are currently looking for an experienced, insightful, forward-thinking Application Manager with a strong ability to design and execute products and solutions that power the enterprise.As a valued member of this team, you will be working with Finance teams to provide Oracle ERP Cloud based or custom-built solutions to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of business objectives.
  • Own and manage Oracle Fusion configurations for Revenue Cloud Management Service (RMCS) and Subscription Billing modules including related Subledger Accounting (SLA)
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Application Managers to drive strategic initiatives in the Supply Chain, Order Management, Accounting & Finance space to establish an enterprise subscription billing and revenue platform
  • Work with engineering teams to design and build products on Facebook’s internal tech stack
  • Partner with Finance teams to define end-to-end scalable business processes for new products and regional launches
  • Influence projects road map to improve the product and end user experience and business process scalability
  • Engage and communicate effectively with internal customers, enabling informed decision making
  • Track KPIs, drive insights & build dashboards to measure results against goals
  • Work with vendor product teams to influence product roadmap for product scalability
  • Lead/Support all business readiness activities including end user training, product testing and roll-outs
  • Support accounting, Audit and finance teams during period close and statutory compliance audits
  • Develop and maintain a well-coordinated internal relationship with key decision makers and with the wider enterprise engineering organization
  • Own and configure Fusion applications, guide the team on right upstream configurations for end-to-end process scalability
  • See big picture impact of enterprise structure changes, end-to-end solution
  • BA/BS degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Accounting, Finance or quantitative field
  • 5+ years experience working in Oracle Fusion Revenue Management Cloud Service (RMCS) and Subscription Billing modules. Experience in working and integrating solutions with supply chain modules (Order Management, Costing, Inventory)
  • Solid understanding of underlying Revenue accounting processes, impact and integrations
  • Familiarity with Revenue Accounting standards (e.g. ASC606 & IFRS15) and Subscription Billing
  • Working knowledge of Financial Modules (GL and Receivables)
  • Experience recognizing Subscription revenue using Revenue Management Cloud Service (RMCS)
  • Knowledge of the various subscription business models and billing processes
  • Integration experience between Revenue Management Cloud Service and both Fusion and third party products
  • 2+ years of experience working with Fusion data models, BIP reports, writing SQL queries independently to perform data analysis
  • Experience in designing applications, creating wireframes and mockups for solution POC
  • Effective communication skills to gather business requirements and articulate solutions. Experience negotiating scope, influencing solution options and outcomes and engaging with business stakeholders
  • Proven execution focus and experience leveraging data to influence decision making and prioritization
  • Oracle Cloud Certification for RMCS or Enterprise Subscription Billing
  • One full cycle implementation experience for Fusion Revenue Cloud Management Service (RMCS) and/or Fusion Subscription Billing modules
  • Proficient in BIP and OTBI reports
  • Working knowledge of subscriptions with delayed start dates as well as subscriptions with tiered pricing, overages and underages
  • Experience working with Revenue Management Cloud Service in a high volume, small value product space, as well as implementation experience with variable consideration, material rights and product bundles
  • Good understanding of Fusion integration using FBDI and web service calls. Understanding of design, usage of web services and related standards (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON)
  • Experience leading a small team of contractors
