Job Description
We are looking for a TV & Video Media Specialist to join our Global ATL (above-the-line) Marketing team.
This individual will play an integral role supporting the development and execution of Etsy’s ATL paid brand campaigns and key marketing initiatives in the US, the UK, and Germany. Reporting to the Director of ATL Marketing, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and communications needed for strategizing, planning, and securing ATL media across a series of channels, including: Linear TV, Streaming TV, Podcast, and Digital Video. This position will serve as a primary point of contact among key ATL partner teams, including external media agency partners. At Etsy, we believe the strongest media strategies are derived when Creative, Analytics, and Research teams are working together hand in hand. This role will be responsible for facilitating cross-team coordination and knowledge sharing throughout the full campaign process - from the briefing phase, media planning and implementation, ensuring measurement and tracking setup, creative delivery, implementing optimizations, to post-campaign performance reporting.

The individual we’re looking for is a highly-motivated, self-starter, with a strong passion for paid media advertising. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and unafraid to dig into the numbers, with an eagerness to learn and problem solve. This individual must be agile, thrives in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication skills.
This is a full-time position based in Brooklyn, New York.

  • Responsible for facilitating operational needs throughout the full campaign process, day-to-day communication with internal and external partner teams, and coordination of key initiatives for the US, the UK and Germany

  • Work cross-functionally to execute key work on an ongoing basis, managing with partner requests, surfacing new opportunities, and facilitate creative needs, research tracking, and campaign measurement based on ATL strategy

  • Collaborate with partners to coordinate key inputs, meetings, and final deliverables, to ensure media strategy is developed cohesively, and that we continue to evolve based on what we learn (e.g. planning for new creative deliverables, more research testing, optimizing media)

  • Manage ATL team calendar, timelines, and campaign project plans

  • Effectively share and communicate applicable updates on strategy, goals, learnings, creative assets, and performance to partners- including external agency partners and vendors

  • Closely track budget and monitoring costs as an active participant to the overall billing process for all geographies

  • Follow media trends of online and offline outlets to recommend enhancements to plans and surface areas of opportunity (e.g. new TV programming, new measurement tactics)

  • Manage ATL team calendar, timelines, and campaign project plans

  • Maintain strong agency and vendor partner relationships to ensure securing plans setup for maximum potential and impact
  • Serve as the knowledge keeper of all that is ATL marketing - keeping organized, shareable, documentation and record of previous campaign media plans, performance reporting, creative assets, and status trackers for projects in-progress


  • 3+ years experience working in paid advertising (agency experience ideal) for linear TV, OTT/streaming TV

  • You are a media savvy, self-starter, who thrives in a fast-paced work environment

  • You have a passion for all the facets of paid media - strategy, planning, audiences, targeting, channel mix, creative; and are looking to learn as much as possible

  • You are highly organized and have strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities

  • You have a general understanding and interest in the always-evolving TV, OTT/CTV, and digital video media landscape - from measurement, to content, platforms, and more

  • You have excellent communication skills, and enjoy collaborating with others

  • You have great attention to detail, and are unafraid to dig into the math and numbers behind the scenes

  • You have a strong ability to synthesize complex reports into concise takeaways

  • You are strategic, and take pride in your work - whether it’s a spreadsheet or an asset

  • You are comfortable handling confidential information and communicating with colleagues of various levels and backgrounds
