Work you'll do
  • Provide technical writing, document preparation, editing, and communication support and coordination in a manner consistent with client practices, for the development and production of project deliverables, work products, and other documentation
  • Edit, proofread and provide writing support on non-technical and/or technical document packages in support of program goals and objectives
  • Ensure documents meet editorial and government specifications and adhere to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format and style
  • Create and standardize project documentation templates; continuously improve the documentation development and review process throughout project execution
  • Maintain configuration management of in-process and completed packages in the appropriate tracking systems; and set up and enforce documentation draft and final versions control
  • Provide technical writing assistance and support to include assistance in preparing and editing briefings and documentation in accordance with Public Affairs approval review timelines

Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Active Secret security clearance required
  • Writing and/or editing experience in a professional or academic setting
  • Experience working independently with minimal supervision and guidance
