Product Management Consultant

What you’ll achieve
As a Product Management Consultant in IT, you will apply knowledge of product management to manage the delivery of new technology and emerging product opportunities. You will evaluate optimization of existing products and automation of existing products to provide a better infrastructure experience for our customers.
Collaborate with stakeholders and Senior Engineers on design/creation/positioning for highly available and scalable products
Use Lean Software Development processes such as Agile, Scrum and Kanban
Author strategy docs, white papers, market research and vision documents along with user stories for current and future products
Present strategic product communications across multiple stakeholder organizations
Manage the entire product life cycle, prototyping and testing new features and changes to our product and processes
Work extensively with the product team to build product roadmap and backlogs
Manage requirements gathering and provide advanced interpretation and recommendations
Be a subject matter expert for internal product events

Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role:
9-12 years of related experience in infrastructure technology relating to Agile/Lean product management methodology
Previous experience working with Infrastructure Teams or strong Infrastructure knowledge (networks, compute, data storage, data centers)
Strong leadership skills for driving and collaborating cross functional groups
Excellent understanding of products, product transformation efforts, as well as potential cross product lead relationships for the product
Strong problem-solving skills and determination to push past false barriers
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
