What you’ll achieve
As a Principal Service Delivery Engineer, you will provide world-class delivery support to our customers by building an in-depth knowledge of our customers’ priorities and initiatives and becoming a trusted advisor that avoids customer impact and facilitates continuous improvement. You will identify potential sales and growth opportunities and will partner with key stakeholders to maximize these prospects.
Provide hands-on design and implementation services for customers’ large and complex data protection solutions per the specifications in the Statement of Work, Scope document, Architecture Design Document or Project Manager direction
Assist DPS Sales and Presales teams in validating complex data protection solutions and deliver design and implementation services for approved proofs-of-concept and other technical presales activities as requested
Provide proactive recommendations to customers for improving their use of Dell EMC Data Protection solutions to help maximize customer satisfaction with Dell EMC.
Assists EMC technical teams in the development of custom solutions and implementation preparation such as level-of-effort project scoping
Successfully manages relations with customers utilizing negotiation and influencing skills to acquire the internal and external resources necessary for optimal results.

8 to 12 years of professional Service Delivery experience with a Bachelor's Degree, 6+ years with a Master's Degree or commensurate experience
Robust customer service skills, as well as, analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
The ability to lead sub-teams with robust organization and planning skills to oversee and successfully implement program deliverables
Design and implementation experience with Dell EMC data protection products including NetWorker, Data Domain, Avamar, Data Protection Advisor and Cyber Recovery required
Willingness to travel domestically up to 25% of the time
Solid understanding and experience with TCP/IP networking, virtualization and cloud technologies preferred
