HPC Sales Specialist

What you’ll achieve
The role involves working on future opportunities to influence the HPC design architecture with new customer, new buyers, technical and executive decision makers to create the opportunity to capture new sales and deeper share of wallet.
You will:
Work with the HPC Workload Architects and the core sales account teams to generate net new sales pipeline with a focus on strategic and competitive accounts and opportunities.
Ensure coordination inside of the opportunity sales teams on specific opportunities
Help identify prospects at new accounts and existing customers
Provide thoughtful feedback and customer feedback to internal organizations and partners on customer needs and Dell Technologies offerings

A person who is passionate about HPC and in growing the business through strategic conversations. This role is a highly visible one outside the company. Sales Specialists will be expected to a have well-honed public voice. You will be speaking at conferences, blogging / vlogging regularly and assisting with thought leadership papers, in addition to meeting with customers. You will interact and share information both ways with the HPC Office of the CTO and the Dell HPC and AI engineering teams and Dell Technologies Product Group with a 1 to 3 year vision when advising customers.
Essential Requirements
5+ years in outside sales roles
Experience in demonstrating an ability to influence technical and non-technical buyers
Advanced knowledge of technical products, vendors and families of technologies
Experience in selling HPC architectures and processor/GPU technologies, HPC workloads, interconnects, and storage
Exceptional oral and written communication skills to communicate with customers, support personnel and leadership
Desirable Requirements
5+ years in selling HPC computing solutions
8 to 12 years of related experience in a relationship selling role
