Director, Technology & Business Transformation PMO
The Technology and Business Transformation PMO plays a vital role in delivering gaming-changing service offerings and products supporting the Dell Services strategy. We achieve business success by leading and transforming the business through Program Management, New Technology & Tool Introduction, IT Architecture & Operations, New Products & Enhancements, and Process Engineering. This team ensures the business is ready for the changing world of services through cutting edge technology, service offerings, tools, and methodologies. We create a collaborative world of change management and transformation for the next generation of service offerings and business operations. All of which is governed by the PMO standards and organizational governance created by this team.

What you’ll achieve:
As the Director of Transformation, you will communicate and translate our vision/strategy to staff. Execute and manage functional and business goals for the group including product marketing launches, IT releases, and transformation milestones. Influence individuals regarding strategy, ROI, conflict resolution, problem solving, or championing the project management value proposition. Prepare and present to all levels of leadership and staff. Ensure critical outcomes are met for each project, program and/or portfolio for which they are responsible, or their staff is responsible for.
Direct a diverse team representing various functions spanning Technology, IT Operations, Appliance and Application Engineering, Product & SW Development, Test & QA Engineering, Automation, Process Engineering, Program Management, and PMO GOV. Lead the organization through significant transformation supporting IT Re-architecture, New Service Offers, Process Digitalization, Product Enhancements, New Technology, Continuous Improvements, and Automation. Deliver productivity gains through Agile, Automation, & CI/CD by driving the adoption of Adaptive Planning, Rapid Development, Rapid Delivery, and Continuous Improvement.
Ensure engineering tools and applications supporting platforms, peripherals, applications, and diagnostics meet the needs of our customers, both internal and external.
Translate and document all business requirements into IT solutions and enhancements, while ensuring all business processes support the IT NorthStar strategy.
Ensure all program deliverables are on schedule, in scope, and within budget, meeting all organizational commitments, while delivering to the needs of the business.
Drive PMO standards, practices, and governance for the Configuration Services Organization and set the example for the entire Services Organization.
Hire, retain, and reward the best people for the critical roles in Technology, Product Enhancements, Process Improvement, Offer Enablement, and PMO.

Typically 15+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Typically requires 7+ years diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization and people motivation skill (or equivalent experience)
Expertise in Dell Service Offerings, portfolio/program management methodologies, software lifecycle, Agile, process engineering, product development, business transformation, and emerging technology & tools support customer experience and business operations.
Proven ability to translate business needs & user requirements into technology solutions & business processes.
