About the job:
A User Researcher works to answer the most challenging questions regarding our users. With your work, you uncover pain and delight points, as well as unmet needs and opportunities throughout the User Journey.
You are passionate about understanding users and their needs, behaviours, and emotions. Your findings will help us to create delightful, intuitive and innovative products as you will work on projects that inform design and product strategy.
You will achieve this goal through the implementation of different research methods and working on research projects ranging from generative to evaluative as in different stages of the product development process.
You inspire change by presenting your findings. You strive to create understanding and empathy with our users across the product team and you will be responsible for working with them to involve our users needs in their roadmap definition.
You will support the growth of the discipline, as well as the definition and execution of processes that aim to enhance the scope of research with users in the Research team.
Your responsibilities:

  • Plan, run and analyse independently multiple research projects with various complexities at different points of the product development process.

  • Utilise a variety of methods to develop and innovate on our user research practice.

  • Work alongside cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, analysts, etc.) to build and execute research roadmaps in an agile working context.

  • Communicate and deliver meaningful research insights in effective, innovative, and impactful ways to a variety of audiences.

  • Work alongside other researchers to piece together insights across the customer journey.

  • Contribute to the establishment of a user-centered product development culture.

Your Heroic Skills:

  • 5+ for senior role years in a UX research related role.

  • Ability to independently define key research questions, purpose the most adequate research method, take care of logistics, execute, and synthesise data to generate actionable insights.

  • Ability to understand the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process.

  • Experience with qualitative mixed methods.

  • Ability to collaborate with peers from product teams in order to improve the overall experience for users.

  • Strong communication skills and innovative storytelling, both oral and written.

  • Enthusiastic team player.

Preferred Skills:

  • Background in Psychology, Sociology, Behavioural science or a related field.

  • Experience working on e-commerce products/services across multiple platforms and/or markets.

  • Experience executing research in a fast paced environment.
