Coinbase has built the world's leading compliant cryptocurrency platform serving over 30 million accounts in more than 100 countries. With multiple successful products, and our vocal advocacy for blockchain technology, we have played a major part in mainstream awareness and adoption of cryptocurrency. We are proud to offer an entire suite of products that are helping build the cryptoeconomy and increase economic freedom around the world.
There are a few things we look for across all hires we make at Coinbase, regardless of role or team. First, we look for signals that a candidate will thrive in a culture like ours, where we default to trust, embrace feedback, disrupt ourselves, and expect sustained high performance because we play as a championship team. Second, we expect all employees to commit to our mission-focused approach to our work. Finally, we seek people with the desire and capacity to build and share expertise in the frontier technologies of crypto and blockchain, in whatever way is most relevant to their role.
What you’ll be doing:
  • Guide asset issuers through our listings process
  • Serve as the liaison between the asset issuer and Coinbase internal review and integration teams, including Legal, Compliance and Security, as well as Crypto and Business
  • Identify ways to improve and automate the listings process both for asset issuers and for internal teams
  • Work with asset issuers to resolve blockers to listing including risk mitigations, communicate approval status, integration timelines, and serve as a subject matter expert that answers questions about the overall process
  • Proactively monitor the status of crypto projects to communicate network upgrades, forks, etc… ___ how it will impact the status, both pre and post-launch
  • Work cross-functionally to educate the legal, compliance, security, engineering and finance teams on elements of the project

What we look for in you:
  • Experience working with Client Management, or Customer Success
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills: great listener with the ability to concisely synthesize complex issues. Ability to translate digital asset information effectively across the organization to compliance, legal, engineering, and executives
  • Strong ability to problem solve in unstructured situations, and an ability to drive challenging and vague problems to clarity and resolution
  • Proven excellence in making informed judgements based on research and metrics, and setting priorities in ambiguous situations
  • Ability to collaborate with teammates, navigate relationships in both crypto and the broader technology ecosystem, and ensure that entrepreneurs have an excellent experience engaging with Coinbase
