The role of Strategic Account Executive is essential to helping Chargebee achieve our mission by communicating the value of Chargebee’s solutions to our target market and by demonstrating to customers how Chargebee solutions empower their business.
What you will be doing:
Communicate effectively with CFO’s and members of the CFO organization about revenue recognition, the needs in the market, and the specific value offered by Chargebee’s revenue recognition capabilities
Consistently meet & exceed sales quota. We are a team of A-Players!
Work in collaboration with internal Chargebee groups to support inbound marketing campaigns
Proactively pursue and nurture prospects, conduct a demo with each lead
Understanding the competitive landscape for revenue recognition and how Chargebee’s value is differentiated from other competitors
Demonstrate a sound understanding of how the overall business solution is positioned, deployed and supported
Lead customers through an end-to-end sales cycle in collaboration with Pre-Sales and Support teams
(1) prior B2B software sales background to similar target market, (2) familiarity / background in finance or accounting
3+ years experience closing as an AE
Background in finance or accounting (familiarity with accounting terms)
Strong prospecting skills
Consistent success with sales quota attainment
Exceptional communication, problem-solving and collaboration skills
Experience in driving B2B sales growth preferably in a technology/product environment (in SaaS industry preferred)
Experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to the C-level
Prior accounting experience with revenue recognition
Previous Sales Methodology training
