Amazon is seeking an experienced candidate to develop our growing global supply chain as part of the Global Mile team at Amazon.

The Global Mile Imports team focuses on optimizing speed and cost, we execute the timely movement of freight from global manufacturing hubs cross-border into Amazon’s international marketplaces for Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) sellers and retail direct import vendors. Leveraging the capabilities of world-class logistics providers and internal Amazon supply chain solutions, Global Mile increases selection and lowers cost for our customers.
The Global Mile North America Operations team is seeking such an individual to help us manage daily operational tasks. We invite you to be part of the team that defines how Amazon changes the world of international logistics, one shipment at a time.
Core responsibilities
  • Conduct data entries and analysis per request
  • Manage shipment tracking, defect analysis, and exception management
  • Perform data quality check for assigned inbound & outbound flows
  • Support daily/weekly KPI analysis
  • Write and update operations SOPs
  • Collaborate with service providers, NA operation centers, and NAFN to solve shipment delivery issues
  • Collaborate with origin & destination teams
Measurement for Success
  • Complete assigned tasks in timely and accurate manner
  • Demonstrate productivity gain through continuous improvement
  • Develop, execute, and improve operations procedures with strong disciplines
  • 2 + years of experience leading Cross-Functional multi-regional Program(s)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Logistics/Engineering or an analytical field.
  • Experience developing KPIs for Supplier related Metrics
  • Experience using data to drive root cause elimination and process improvement
  • Experience with automated self-service reporting tools
  • 2+ years of hands on SQL experience/knowledge
  • Experience with automated self-service reporting tools
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
