  • Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related discipline with a focus in Computer vision, Machine Learning, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience developing and implementing machine learning algorithms
  • Experience in at least one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python.

A day in the life
As an Applied Science Manager, you will build, lead and inspire a team of scientists and ML engineers solving problems through innovations in deep learning, Computer vision and machine learning. You will take data driven approach coupled with your strong technical expertise in deep learning/computer vision/ML along to lead a team to ship and deliver products. You will be expected to deal with ambiguity, understand business requirements and map them to technical solutions, collaborate with multiple partner teams and be passionate in tackling challenging problems that deliver a great customer experience through innovative solutions.

  • Expertise on a broad set of Machine Learning approaches and techniques, ranging from supervised to unsupervised learning including SVM, RDF & DNN.
  • A track record of thoughtful leadership and contributions that have advanced the field (Published in top tier conferences in the field of Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Multimodal, NLP)
  • Expertise in Deep Learning Framework (MXNet, Tensor Flow, etc.).
  • Experience of deploying deep learning algorithms on edge devices.
  • Experience working effectively with science, data processing, and software engineering teams.
  • Experience in one or more areas in Computer Vision, deep learning such as - object detection and tracking, face recognition, scene understanding, semantic video analysis, deep learning architectures, GANs, AR/VR algorithms and 3D reconstruction.
  • Experience in driving strong cross-functional collaboration across multiple partner teams
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Ability to drive data-driven decisions through metrics and analysis
  • Experience in hiring and developing a team
