The site health tech consultant is the single point of contact for site speed and security topics within the .COM Experience team. They identify opportunities and work with the relevant teams to implement these. They make sure everyone in the .COM Experience organization is aware of the value of these topics and have access to all the information they need to incorporate best practices into their daily jobs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESBusiness analysis
Investigates operational needs and problems, and opportunities, contributing to the recommendation of improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes and organisation. Assists in defining acceptance tests for these recommendations.Requirements definition and management
Defines and manages scoping, requirements definition and prioritisation activities for small scale changes and assists with more complex change initiatives.
Follows agreed standards, applying appropriate techniques to elicit and document detailed requirements.
Provides constructive challenge to stakeholders as required.
Prioritises requirements and documents traceability to source.
Reviews requirements for errors and omissions.
Provides input to the requirements base-line.
Investigates, manages and applies authorised requests for changes to base-lined requirements, in line with change management policy.Portfolio, programme and project support
Uses recommended portfolio, programme and project control solutions for planning, scheduling and tracking.
Sets up project files, compiles and distributes reports.
Provides administrative services to project boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings. Provides guidance on project management software, procedures, processes, tools and techniques.Porting/software configuration
Assists in the configuration of software and equipment and the systems testing of platform specific versions of one or more software products.
Documents faults, implements resolutions and retests to agreed standards.Application support
Identifies and resolves issues with applications, following agreed procedures.
Uses application management software and tools to collect agreed performance statistics.
Carries out agreed applications maintenance tasks.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications
- Four-year college or university degree with focus on Business Administration or IT or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient spoken and written command of English
- At least 5-year experience in IT or Digital
- 2 years of experience in a relevant area such as web development or site operations
- A very good understanding of web technologies
- Experience using tools to monitor website performance such as webpagetest, mPulse, Speedcurve or others
- Understanding of different cultures
