Manager Corporate Treasury - Financial Operations & Treasury IT systems

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The purpose of Corporate Treasury is to manage the company’s liquidity, solvency, and financial market risks. Corporate Treasury’s Financial Operations team is responsible for: (i) the Corporate’s daily global cash management operation, (ii) global external bank account and in-house bank account management, (iii) Treasury system applications, and iv) global Cash Factory which consolidates, standardize, and automate the Corporate’s global cash management and payment processes.
With the Corporate’s global cash management processes, Corporate Treasury deliver significant improvement in working capital management (and related savings in financial expenses) as well as improvement in work processes and resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Be the key contact person for all treasury system applications
  • Manage all IT applications in alignment with corporate’s compliance requirements for SAP In-House-Bank (IHC), SAP Bank Communication Manager, SAP Cash Management, SAP Liquidity Analyzer, Grape BI system for treasury related applications (like SAP Liquidity Planner and Exposure), Bank Account Manager (BAM), Treasury Management System – Quantum (TMS), interfaces to market and trade platforms (Bloomberg, 360T, FINASTRA, DTCC) in cooperation with Global IT
  • Manage IT interfaces for treasury applications
  • Ensure straight-through processing and full integration between all treasury applications
  • Ensure smooth operation of the day-to-day business by setting up/ maintaining / update all treasury applications
  • Cooperate with treasury colleagues in jointly managing SAP Cash Management, SAP In-House Bank, SAP Bank Communication Manager and TMS in partnership with the business
  • System support of SAP Inhouse-Bank processes and SAP BCM Payment Factory processes
  • Manage medium sized Agile system projects and continuous improvement initiatives in Treasury
  • Provide comprehensive technical and business expertise for treasury processes to support business partners
  • Enhance and create new working methods for integrated treasury processes and treasury systems i.e., cash management, payment processes, treasury reporting, exposure forecast
  • Identify significant improvement potential through e.g., variance analysis, derive solutions and recommendations to facilitate related decisions
  • Provide information about new processes or operational plans and deliver impact on corporate treasury environment i.e., Segregation-Of-Duties
  • Design, develop and implement adequate KPI’s and analytic tools to present results, recommendations, and solutions
  • Drive Treasury Data Management
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls as per Corporate Treasury Policy by e.g., managing and oversee treasury systems user accesses
  • Work collaboratively in an international team environment
  • Actively keep up to date with latest system / application trends for Treasury

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Comprehensive business and IT understanding of processes and structure
  • High degree of service and customer orientation
  • Broad SAP experience including SAP treasury tools in terms of usage and processes
  • Understand and transfer business requirements into technical processes
  • Ability to coordinate, drive and perform changes/ continuous improvements / upgrades / maintenance of treasury systems
  • Understanding of the complexity, interactions, and dependences within IT applications
  • Ability to operate cross-functional
  • Experience in Project Management; Agile Project Coaching Skills are a plus
  • Good verbal and written communication, including presentation skills
  • Work closely together with Global IT and external vendors
  • Excellent analytical skills, managing large data quantities from multiple sources
  • Be team player
  • Treasury Systems knowledge in Quantum (TIS), 360T, Finastra, DTCC, Bloomberg is a plus
  • Knowledge of accounting topics related to treasury activities is a plus

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
  • University degree in Business Administration/Finance / business informatics/ business-oriented information technology
  • 3 - 8 years’ experience in Treasury / Accounting / Banking / IT / SAP - ideally SAP AFS & Quantum
  • Comprehensive expertise for treasury relevant systems
  • Fluent in English spoken and written, German as a plus
  • Relevant project management experience
  • Willing to train and be trained on above topics
