Purpose:
  • Create and execute strategies to enable successful sell-thru and healthy maintenance of product franchises according to the category net sales ambition, standard margin targets, and dynamic data-led go to market process.
  • Point person for commercial, forecasting and go to market needs for the Business Unit, global markets, and sales channels thru key milestones, handovers, and day-to-day touchpoints.
  • Lead/support category and brand projects and initiatives

Key Responsibilities of Director Concept to Consumer:
  • Lead the team that delivers footwear rollout: volumes, distribution and corresponding go to market strategies that meet financial ambition and maintain franchise health.
  • Create and deliver clear plans and innovative solutions at key go to market milestones and handovers based on business insights, consumer/market data, and trend.
  • Provide consumer, market, and business input to product creation triad.
  • Along with Business Intelligence and relevant business partners review/improve/create tools required to enable a dynamic and agile go to market.
  • Lead seasonal/yearly range merchandising plan (segmentation, flow, etc) with input from product triad and collaboration partners.
  • Create/communicate seasonal plans to markets; manage market interaction.
  • Innovate go to market strategy with use of current and creation of new data tools and processes.
  • Communicate clear launch cadence, sell-out targets, and toolkit guidelines to global markets.
  • Guide designated markets/channels in building category business plans and priorities.
  • Collaborate with and support key markets/channels to achieve financial targets and KPI's.
  • Evaluate the key markets/ channels to ensure proper implementation of marketing strategies. Use regular analysis and business relevant information to develop future CtC plans
  • Lead and support on appropriate category strategic initiatives, e.g. SBP, sustainability, etc. Participate in Brand strategic projects.
  • Direct management of direct reports and team
  • Set team/individual targets, guidelines and assess direct reports
  • Develop the functional and soft skills of talent
  • Budget management as assigned.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
  • University degree or equivalent education required
  • 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Minimum 3 years managerial experience
  • 3 years working with go to market, merchandising, production creation or related field
