Accenture Research uncovers trends and shape data-driven insights through Thought Leadership and Research for Accenture and its clients. Accenture Research combines deep understanding of Accenture clients’ industries with leading-edge research techniques to discover the most pressing issues facing organizations today.
Our team of 300 researchers and analysts develops thought-provoking research - supported by proprietary data and partnerships with leading organizations that guides our innovations and allows us to transform theories and fresh ideas into real-world solutions for our clients.
Our team uses innovative business research techniques such as economic modeling, data science, expert networks, surveys, data visualization, and open research with Tier 1 academic and business partners. Accenture Research powers hundreds of points of views published by Accenture every year, answers thousands of thought provoking questions from clients around the world, drives the insights that guides Accenture’s business strategy and handles Accenture’s exclusive network of data and sources covering all industries, countries, market trends and digital technologies. In our team you will learn:
Thought leadership and trend analysis: Accenture creates original, cutting-edge points of view to use with clients, the media and in conferences. Most of our projects are published and quoted in the media and you are expected to have a voice and an opinion on the industry both inside and beyond Accenture. Research into industry trends informs publications and the direction of our business.
As a specialist in technology thought leadership, you will:
Client-focused research: you will work alongside our colleagues from the practice to provide research on clients’ business challenges and opportunities, support proposals, engagements, and day to day discussions with clients on their business and industry.
Demonstrate business writing proficiency: Demonstrate skill at penning points of view and research reports in English that bring insights to life for a C-suite audience. You may co-author articles/blog/thought pieces through Accenture’s publication channels and other channels and required to maintain a positive and growing social media presence.
Support Innovation: Assist and support the development of thought-provoking insights by identifying, developing and driving differentiated data-driven management insights. Research will involve both quantitative and qualitative research methods and tools.
- Be data-driven: Understand the data needed to underpin effective technology thought leadership, consulting and strategy work. When required, analyze surveys, and provide results to the practice.
Be able to engage with teams on using innovative new research methodologies, such as customer experience platforms etc.
Create business impact: Research focused on issues that impact the business of Accenture and its clients (“so what?”) with major and long-lasting impact
- Demonstrate technology and digital acumen: Business knowledge of digital technologies - especially Cloud, AI, Edge, IoT, software engineering etc. - and their applications to driving value across various industries. Technical knowledge of cloud and associated technologies is an advantage, though not required, given an ability to learn and adapt quickly.
Handle complex projects: work on multiple engagement and geographies at any one time. Work is mostly virtual, but with global presence/reach.
Work well with geographically distributed teams
We are looking for experience in the following skills:
- The candidate should have experience in driving high impact market and competitive intelligence analyses and presentations
- The candidate should have proven track of analytical skills/data fluency: data-driven insights and recommendations; experience using data visualization tools like PBI.
- Experience of working with and influencing senior stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal and strong communication and storytelling and presentation skills; have a persuasive and credible presentation style
- Strong understanding of business and economic issues at large
- Curiosity in Business, Technology and Management trends
- A solid team player – experience in working across regions.
